Ara : A teenage girl was gangraped by three youth at a village under Ara Muffassil police station area in Bhojpur district on October 23, 2018, late evening. A named FIR was lodged with the police against three persons of the same village in this connection and police arrested one of the named accused Munna Kumar Yadav and sent him to jail on October 24, 2018.
Police on October 24 brought over the girl to Sadar Hospital, Ara, for medical examination and will also produce her before the court to get her statement recorded under section 164 CrPC.
SHO, Ara Muffassil Police Station, said that a teenage girl under Ara Muffassil police station area had gone to the field behind her house in the late evening on October 23 to attend call of nature where three youth of the village caught her, tied her mouth with her clothe and outraged her modesty. The girl strongly protested but in vain.
