Teenage girl gangraped at gun point at Bhojpur village

Ara : A teenage girl was gangraped by four persons at village Narayanpur under Hasan Bazaar Police Outpost in Bhojpur district at gun point on September 22, 2018, evening.

A named FIR has been lodged with Women Police Station in this connection and police brought the survivor over to Sadar Hospital, Ara, for medical examination. Police will produce her before the court to get her statement recorded under section 164 of CrPC on September 24, 2018.

SHO, Womean Police Station, Poonam Kumari said that a teenage girl of village Narayanpur under Hasan Bazaar Police Outpost had gone to the market where four named accused caught her and took her to a nearby crematorium and gangraped her at gun point. When she protested, the accused thrashed her.

The girl narrated her ordeal to her family members on her return from the market.Her family members were taken aback and took her to the Women police station where a named FIR was lodged against four persons on the statement of the girl. No arrest has so far been made in this connection though the police are conducting raids at different places to nab them.
