Teenage girl dies, 2 brothers injured as LPG Cylinder explodes at their house in Bhojpur

Ara : A  teenage girl died  while her two brothers sustained burn injuries and property worth lakhs of rupees were destroyed when an LPG cylinder exploded at their house at village Ranisagar under Shahpur police station in Bhojpur district on April 23, 2019. The deceased was identified as Renu Kumari, daughter of Baiju Turaha.

Police brought the body over to Ara Sadar Hospital for post-mortem and admitted the injured there. SHO, Shahpur police station, Chandan Jha, said that women at the house of Shiv Ji Turaha were cooking for the family but they could not notice leakage in the LPG cylinder which caught fire and exploded. In fraction of second, the fire engulfed the house in which Renu Kumari, daughter of Baiju Turaha, was burnt alive while her two brothers were injured in their bid to extinguish the fire. The SHO said that police summoned the fire tenders which extinguished  the fire.
