Gopalganj: A tanker carrying vegetable oil was looted by some criminals after making the driver unconscious. After gaining consciousness, the driver reached Sidhwaliya police station, Gopalganj, and informed the cops about the incident on Wednesday morning.

Police said one Sadaruddin Khan, a native of Bikramganj in Rohtas district, was on way to Sitamarhi from Kanpur on a tanker laden with vegetable oil on NH-28 in Gopalganj on December 6 night. As the tanker crossed Kuchaikot commercial- taxes barrier, some cialcriminals on a truck followed Khan’s tanker and overtook it near Madhubani Mor under Sidhwaliya police  station. The criminals made Khan unconscious and escaped with the tanker.

Khan on Wednesday morning gained consciousness and reached Sidhwaliya police station and informed the cops about the incident. An FIR was lodged in this connection. Sidhwaliya ps SHO Arvind Kumar Yadav said that raids were going on to recover the looted vehicle.
