Tai Tzu Ying, Saina enter 2nd round BWF French Open 2018

Patna : World No 1 in BWF rankings Tai Tzu Ying, 24, Taiwan, and World No 10 Saina Nehwal, 28, India, entered the second round of French Open badminton tournament at Stade Pierre DE Coubertin, Paris, France, on October 24, 2018.

Ying beat World No 23 Line Hojmark Kjaersfeltd, 24, Denmark, in straight games 21-9, 21-14 in only 27 minute in the first round.

Saina, who had lost in the 2018 Denmark Open final to Ying last week, beat World No 37 Saena Kawakami, Japan, 21-11, 21-11 in the first round in 37 minute. World No 7 Nozomi Okuhara, Japan, beat World No 35 Beatriz Corrales, Spain, 21-10, 21-12 in 25 minute in the first round.
