Patna : The Special Vigilance Unit (SVU) has lodged a Rs 1.73 crore disproportionate asset (DA) case against Mrityunjay Kumar, Officer on Special Duty (OSD), Mines & Geology Department, Bihar Government. The SVU has conducted search operations at OSD Kumar’s Patna residence and Katihar residence of his female acquaintance.
The SVU seized Rs 15 lakh cash from the Katihar residence of the woman while the three almiraah are yet to be opened. The SVU has detected huge transactions from the bank accounts of Kumar and the woman. The investigating agency also seized some incriminating documents during the search operations.
