Sunil Arora assumes charge as Election Commissioner

New Delhi : Sunil Arora assumed charge as the third Election Commissioner of India here on Septembet 1, 2017. He was appointed as the Election Commissioner on August 31. Born on April 13, 1956,  Arora, 1980 batch IAS officer of Rajasthan cadre, superannuated on April 30, 2016, as Secretary, Information & Broadcasting, Government of India.
