Bokaro ( Jharkhand) : Believing in adage ‘All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy’, hundreds of children of DPS Bokaro take the maximum benefit of the Summer Camp which started on May 6, 2019, on the school campus.
Brimming with enthusiasm and confidence the students are learning the finer tricks of various games including Athletics, Basketball, Volleyball, Football, Swimming, and Yoga from the experts Brajesh Kumar Singh (Football and Athletics); Rupesh Kumar (Swimming); Chandani (Basketball); Arun Kumar Pandey (Volleyball), and Anuneha (Yoga) who are giving valuable tips to them.
Principal, DPS Bokaro, A S Gangwar, said, “The camp will hone the inherent talent of the students.” He said that sports inculcate various skills and cultivate team spirit which is the need of the hour in today’s world. Pointing out that a healthy mind lives in a healthy body, Gangwar exhorted the students to exercise daily saying it is as important as education. It not only helps the body but the mind too as it promotes solidarity and upholds integrity. The camp will conclude on May 16, 2019.
