Sumit Nagal loses in SFs of ATP Samarkand Challenger

Patna : World No 303 in ATP rankings Sumit Nagal, 21, India, crashed out of USD 54,160 ATP Samarkand Challenger in Uzbekistan on May 19, 2019, losing in the semi-finals to World No 355 Joao Menezes, 22, Brazil. Menezes beat 15th seed Nagal 5-7, 6-4, 6-3 to enter the final of the clay court tournament.

Menezes will face World No 123 Corentin Moutet, 20, France, in the final on May 19, 2019, . Top seed Moutet beat 3rd seed and World No 163 Andrej Martin, 29, Slovakia,  6-4, 0-6, 6-2 in the semi-finals.
