Patna : Bihar Government on November 25, 2019, granted Proforma Promotion to Sujata Chaturvedi, a 1989 batch IAS officer and Additional Secretary, Personnel & Training, Government of India, to the Apex Payscale (Chief Secretary rank). Sujata Chaturvedi has been granted Proforma Promotion to Chief Secretary (CS) rank with effect from October 5, 2019.
The State Government has also promoted 13 IAS officers – 8 officers of 2005 batch & 5 officers of 2006 batch – to the rank of Special Secretary ( Selection Grade) with effect from different dates. They are : Sanwar Bharti, Mohd. Manjur Ali, Radha Kishore Jha, Dr Shyamal Kishore Pathak, Arun Prakash, Kumar Arun Prakash, Ratnesh Kumar, all 2005 batch, and Vinod Kumar Singh, Keshav Ra njan Prasad, Narendra Kumar Sinha, Chandrasekhar Singh, and Ranjan Kumar Sinha, all 2006 batch. The General Administration Department (GAD) issued a notification to this effect on November 25, 2019.
The State Government has also granted promotion to four 2006 batch Bihar Cadre IAS officers : Adesh Titarmare, Dayanidhan Pandey, Sandeep Kumar R Pudkalkatty, and Dharmendra Singh, to the rank of Special Secretary on November 25 as 8 IAS officers of 2005 batch ( SCS) have been promoted to this rank.
