Patna : Subhash Sharma, a 1984 batch IAS officer and Chief Inquiry Commissioner, General Administration Department (GAD), Bihar Government, was on January 21, 2019, transferred and appointed Development Commissioner, Bihar.
Arun Kumar Singh, a 1985 batch IAS officer and Development Commissioner, too was shifted and appointed Additional Chief Secretary, Water Resources Department (WRD). Arun Kumar Singh would continue to hold additional charge of Director General, Bihar Public Administration and Rural Development Institute, Patna.
Trupari Sharan, a 1985 batch IAS officer and Additional Chief Secretary, Environment & Forest and Climate Change Department, Bihar, has been given additional charge of Chief Enquiry Commissioner, GAD.
Sanjay Kumar Singh, a 2007 batch IAS officer and Project Director, Bihar Education Project Council, Patna, was also transferred and appointed Additional Chief Electoral Officer, Election Department, Bihar.
Vinod Singh Gunjiyal, a 2007 batch IAS officer and Director, Animal Hubandry, has been given additional charge of Director, Fisheries, Bihar. The GAD issued a notification regarding these transfers on January 21, 2019, late evening.
