Subhankar Dey qualifies for main draw of BWF Indonesia Masters

Patna : World No 49 in Badminton World Federation (BWF) rankings Subhankar Dey, India, on January 22, 2019, qualified for main draw of BWF Daihatsu Indonesia Masters starting by winning both his matches in the qualifying rounds in straight games. Dey will face World No 6 Viktor Axelsen, 25, Denmark, in the first round on January 23, 2019.

World No 8 Kidambi Srikanth, India, will face World No 44 Wei Feng, 31, Malaysia, in the first round on January 23 while World No 22 B Sai Praneeth, India, will face reigning Olympic champion and World No 5 Chen Long, 30, China. World No 42 Parupalli Kashyap, 32, India, will clash with World No 7 Anthony Sinisuka Jinting, 22, Indonesia, in the first round.
