SSC, holds Fancy Dress, Spot Painting competitions on World Environment Day

Patna : Shrikrishna Science Centre (SSC), Patna, organized several educative programmes on June 5, 2018, on World Environment Day.

The programme started at 9 am with Painting Competition in 3 categories: Sub- Junior Group for students of Class I to IV, Junior Group for students of Class V to VII, and Senior Group for students of Class VIII to X. Thirtyfive students participated in Sub_junior Group, 65 i Junior Group, and 70 in Senior Group. The topic for Sub-Junior group as ‘My Lovely Home’ while for Junior and Senior groups the topic was ‘Beat the Plastic Pollution’. After that a fancy dress competition was organized in which 20 students participated.

There was also a popular lecture on ‘Beat the Plastic’ pollution delivered by Nand Kishor, District Forest Officer (Planning), Patna.  Nand Kishor, in his lecture, explained why we use plastic, the current scenario of plastic pollution and how plastic affects various organs of human body. He also said that the package drinking water we use is also dangerous for our health. He also discussed various options to check it.

At the end of the programme certificates for different categories of Summer Hobby Camp were distributed and also prizes for June 5 prgrammes were given.

In Fancy Dress Competition the First  Prize went to Navya-III, Kendriya Vidyalaya, Danapur, Patna, 2^nd prize to Prachi –IV, St. Karen’s Primary School, Patna, and 3^rd prize to Spandan Chattopadhyay-IV, Christ Church Diocesan School, Patna.

In the Spot painting Competition, Junior Group, the First prize went to Hansika Somani- VI, Litera Valley School, Patna, 2^nd Prize to Tanishq Raj-V, Carmel High School, Bailey Rd, Patna, and 3^rd Prize to Krishna Narayan-VI, Delhi Public School, Patna.

In Spot painting Competition, Sub- Junior Group, the First prize went to Ujala-IV, St. Michael’s High School, Patna, 2^nd  prize to Daksh-I, Don Bosco, Patliputra Colony, Patna, and 3^rd prize – Srijan-IV, Christ Church H School, Kadam Kuan, Patna.

In Spot painting Competition, Senior Group, the First prize went to Muskan Somani, Class-X, Litera Valley School, Kumhrar, Patna, 2^nd Prize to Sarthak Singh Sagar, Class VIII, St. Karen’s H.School, Patna, 3^rd  prize to Rani Kumari, Class VIII, Kilkari Bihar Bal Bhawan, Patna.
