Bettiah : The SSB Jawans of 44th Battalion deployed at Pacharota Border Outpost under Mainatand block in West Champaran district at 8.15 am on December 10, 2017, arrested a smuggler Anil Fodar of village Sakhawania under Serawa police station in Parsa district in Nepal with a Motorbike bearing Indian registration number in which 18 kg Charas worth Rs 3.6 crore in the international market was hidden.
SSB Battalion Deputy Commandant Ajay Kumar Rajak said that the SSB team was led by Inspector Naresh Kumar. The smuggler was caught with the bike near border pillar number 429. Later, the seized Charas and bike and the arrested smuggler were handed over to Bhangaha police station for necessary action ,Rajak said
