Bettiah: A team of SSB jawans of 44 th battalion of SSB deployed on Indo-Nepal border under Kangali police station on January 25 caught a smuggler identified as Alihaq Mian of Kalibag locality under Bettiah town police station near Bheriharswa nMadrassa while entering into Indian territory and seized 2.4 kg Charas worth Rs 35 lakh in international market from his possession. Assistant Commandant Pravin Kumar said that the smuggler was arrested during patrolling along the border.
