Sitamarhi: A patrolling team of SSB, Bairgania Camp, headed by Inspector Akhilesh Kumar Yadav arrested five human traffickers and rescued 17 child labourers from Bairgania railway station in Sitamarhi district on March 9, 2018. They were about to board a Mumbai bound train. The child labourers were handed over to an NGO.

The arrested traffickers were identified as Darbin Ram, Mohammad Matiullah, Mohammad Saqir Alam, Surat Kumar and Mohammad Mazrul. Accorrding to police sources, search is on to arrest their other accomplices. A few of the rescued child labourers belong to Nepal.
