SSB Jawans seize 175 bottles of Nepali liquor in Bagaha

Bagaha : SSB jawans of 21st Battalion deployed at Jhanduwatola and Rampurawa border outpost  separately carried out raids at different places along Nepal border under Bagaha Sub-division in West Champaran district in North Bihar on July 23, 2017, morning and seized 175 bottles of Nepali liquor and a countryboat besides nabbing a smuggler.

Deputy Commandant(DC), SSB, Nagmani Singh said that 145 bottles of Nepali liquor was carrying by a countryboat by smugglers from Nepal but as soon as they saw the SSB Jawans at Sadhughat, they left the boat and swam to safely towards Nepal territory. But, SSB jawans deployed at Rampurawa BOP succeeded in arresting a liquor smuggler Rajeshwar Mahto of village Dhumatand under Valmikinagar police station in West Champaran district.the DC Singh said that the seized liquor bottles and arrested smuggler were handed over to Valmikinagar police station the same day for necessary action.
