Patna : World No 10 Kidambi Srikanth, India, beat World No 45 Misha Zilberman, Israel, in a three-game thriller to enter the third round of BWF World Championships at Basel, Switzerland, on August 21, 2019, night.
Srikanth, ,the 7th seed, beat Zilberman 13-21, 21-13, 21-16 in 57 minutes in the 2nd round. Srikanth won 55 rallies in the match to 50 by Zilberman. He won 6 consecutive points in the match to 5 by Zilberman. Both the players are locked 1-1 Head to Head.
World No 9 Anders Antonsen, Denmark, beat World No 36 Liew Daren, Malaysia, 21-17, 21-13 in 52 minutes in second round.
World No 2 Chou Tien Chen, Chinese Taipei, beat World No 126 Zvonimir Durkinjak, Croatia, 21-14, 21-10 in 32 minutes in 2nd round.
