Patna : South Africa were all out for 204 in 46.5 overs in the 6th ODI against India at SuperSport Park, Centurion, South Africa, on February 16, 2018, with Shardul Thakur taking 4/52 in 8.5 overs, Jasprit Bumrah 2/24 in 8 overs and Hardik Pandya 1/39 in 10 overs. Wrist spinners Yuzvendra Chahal and Kuldip Yadav took 2/ 38 and 1/51 respectively.

India won the toss but opted to bowl first. The first South African wicket fell on 23 when opener Hashim Amla was out to Shardul Thakur for 10. The second South African wicket fell when Captain Aiden Markram was out for 24 when the team score was 43. Khaya Zondo was the top scorer making 54 in 74 balls hitting 3 fours and 2 sixes. A B de Villiers made 30 while wicketkeeper Heinrich Klassen made 22. Andile Phehlukwayo made 34 in 42 balls hitting 2 fours and 2 sixes. Morne Morkel made 20 in 19 balls hitting 2 sixes. Farhaan Behardien made 1 while Chris Morris made 4.

Shardul Thakur took the wickets of Markram, Amla, Behardien, and Phehlukwayo while Bumrah took the wickets of Klaasen and Imran Tahir. Pandya took the wicket of Morkel. Chahal took the wickets of de Villiers and Khaya Zondo while Kuldip took the wicket of Chris Morris.
