Patna : India need to score 287 runs to win the second test against South Africa at SuperSport Park, Centurion, South Africa, who were all out for 258 in 91.3 overs in their second innings after tea on the fourth day on January 16, 2018.

South Africa Captain made 48 in 141 balls hitting 4 fours while Vernon Philander made 26 in 85 balls hitting 2 fours. Morne Morkel remained unbeaten on 10. South Africa had made 335 in their first innings while India had made 307 in their first innings.

For the second consecutive test, the Indian bowlers have taken 20 wickets.
