Patna : Electing to bat after winning the toss, South Africa (SA) are 32/2 after 9 overs against India in the 8th match of ICC World Cup at The Rose Bowl, Southampton, UK, on June 5, 2019, with fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah taking the wickets of both the openers : Hashim Amla and Quinton de Kock.

Bumram, bowling at a speed ranging from 138 kmph to 143 kmph, first sent Amla back to pavilion caught by Rohit Sharma for 6. Quinton de Kock fell to Bumrah for 10 with captain Virat Kohli taking the catch. Captain Faf du Plessis is batting on 11 while  Rassie van der Dussen is batting on 4. Bumrah has taken 2/11 in 4 overs.

Both the wrist spinners : Yuzvendra Chahal and Kuldeep Yadav, are playing in the match and so are Lokesh Rahul and  Bhuvaneshwar Kumar.
