Sourabh loses to Tanongsak in SFs of Yonex US Open

Patna : World No 43 Sourabh Verma, 26, India, lost to World No 56 Tanongsak Saensomboonsuk, 28, Thailand, in the semi-finals of Yonex US Open, an HSBC BWF World Tour Super 300 Tournament,  in straight games on July 13, 2019, night, at Titan Gym, Fullerton, USA.

Tanongsak upset Sourabh 21-9, 21-18 in 39 minutes to enter the final of the event. Tanongsak won 42 rallies to 27 by Sourabh. He won 7 consecutive points in the match to 7 by Sourabh. Tanongsak, who had won Denmark Open in 2013,  will face World No 122 Lin Chun-Yi, Chinese Taipei, in the final on July 14, 2019, night.
