Buxar : Alok Kumar, son of a Mukhia of Ataw panchayat under Dumraon police station in Buxar District in South Bihar, Pushpa Devi, was shot at and injured on November 6, 2021, under mysterious circumstances. No FIR has so far been lodged even after 24 hours of incident. Police are investigating the matter and also awaiting the statement of the injured.
DSP Sriraj said that Alok Kumar had gone to the field at the village to attend call of nature when a bullet hit him and he was injured. The DSP said that the incident seemed suspicious and added that prima facie it seems that the bullet from his own firearm hit him accidentally though the police are investigating the matter and the mystery would be solved soon. The DSP further said that police have not got any evidence of firing.
The villagers said that a cultural progamme was going on at the village during Govardhan Puja and Alok Kumar, after watching the programme, went to the field to attend call of nature and after some time a bullet hit his thigh. It was said that some motorcycle borne amed miscreants had shot at him.
