Ara : Some miscreants entered the house of an Advocate of Ara Civil Court Rajeshwar Singh alias Atal Bihari Singh at village Jalpura under Chandi police station i(PS) n Bhojpur District in South Bihar in the wee hour on March 17, 2021, and fired five round on his son Om Prakash Singh injuring him seriously when he was sleeping and escaped from the spot.
Om Prakash Singh was rushed to a private hospital at Ara where the doctor performed surgery on him and took out the bullets from the body. A named FIR was lodged with Chandi PS against Golu Kumar alias Ashish Kumar Singh in this connection on the statement of Rajeshwar Singh, father of the injured. Police are investigating the matter and also conducting raids to arrest the miscreants.
Om Prakash Singh said that he lives at Sarita Bag in Patna with his wife and children and had three tractors and a Scorpio which he gave on rent. Golu Kumar alias Ashish Kumar Singh of the village looked after his business but about six months ago he had removed him from the job after misappropriation of fund was detected. At this, Ashish Kumar Singh had threatened him with dire consequences.
Om Prakash Singh further said that he was sleeping in a room of his house at Jalpura along with his cousin brother Dhananjay Singh when in the wee hour on Mafch 17, 2021, Golu Kumar alias Ashish Kumar Singh intruded the room and fired indiscriminately pumping five billets into his body.
Rajeshwar Singh said that his son had come on March 14, 2021, from Haridwar after treatment of his brother there and in the wee hour he was attacked and injured seriously while sleeping iat his house at his native village.
