Muzaffarpur : Six persons were killed including a school girl while two sustained serious injuries in three separate road accidents in Katihar, Gopalganj, Saran districts of Bihar on October 5, 2021, morning. The two injured persons were admitted to hospitals for treatment.
According to police sources, an Alto car with four youngsters as occupants was en route Kodha village from Phulwariya village in the wee hours on October 5, 2021, rammed a stationary truck near a petrol pump at Kodha under the same police station on NH 31 in in Katihar District in East Bihar in which three occupants of the car died on the spot while another one was seriously injured and is undergoing treatment iat a Katihar hospital.
According to police, the deceased were identified as Ram Kumar, 28, Ashok Gupta,23, and Sunil Kumar, 29, belonging to village Kodha. The police sent the bodies to Katihar hospital for autopsy.
In Gopalganj District, two bikers were killed when their bike collided head-on with a speeding car coming from opposite direction on NH 27 near village Rampur under Sidhwaliya police station. One of the occupants of the car was seriously injured. The car and the bike were badly damaged. Plice have s registered a case in this connection with Sidhwaliya police station.
In another incident, a speeding truck crushed a school going girl on Shitalpur- Parsa road under Dariyapur police station in Saran District in North Bihar. The truck sped away after this accident. Police has registered a case in this connection.
