M R Nayak, a 1998 batch IPS officer and IG, Rail, Bihar, has been shifted and appointed IG, BMP, Bihar. He will also hold additional charge of IG, Traffic, Bihar.
Sanjay Kumar Singh, a 2012 batch IPS officer and Commandant, BMP-15, Valvikinagar, Bagaha, West Champaran, has been transferred and appointed SP, Prohibition. Bihar. He has replaced his batchmate Rakesh Kumar Sinha, who has been appointed SP (B), Special Branch, Bihar. Ravi Ranjan Kumar, also a 2012 batch IPS officer and Commandant, BMP-12, Saharsa, has been given additional charge of Commanfdant, BMP-15, Valmikinagar.
Pankaj Kumar, SP, Regional IG office, Muzaffarpur, has been transferred and appointed SP, Economic Offence Unit (EOU), Bihar. Chandrashekhar Prasad Vidyarthy, newly promoted to IPS rank and Additional SP, Patna, has been appointed Joint Secretary, Revenue & Land Reforms Department, Bihar.
