Siwan: Siwan police are all set to attach the property of sharp-shooter Mohd. Kaif in connection with a case of rangdari lodged with the Town police station. Police had prayed in a local court for attachment of property of Mohd. Kaif, who has been evading arrest in connection with a case of rangdari lodged with the Town police station of Siwan district. Kaif is also a suspect in the murder of Rajdeo Ranjan, bureau chief of Hindustan, Siwan.
Though Siwan SP Saurabh Kumar could not be contacted, police sources said that the court of Chief Judicial Magistrate (CJM) gave permission for attachment of property of Kaif on Thursday.
The political circle of Bihar witnessed commotion after Kaif was seen in a video footage with former RJD MP from Siwan Mohd. Shahabuddin as he reached Siwan after his release from high security Bhagalpur jail after he was given bail in sensational acid attack case by Patna High Court recently. Kaif’s picture with Bihar health minister Tej Pratap Yadav, son of RJD chief LaluPrasad, has also gone viral.
