Sitamarhi DM, SP moving on bike during night to check crime

Muzaffarpur: With a view to improving law and order in the district, Sitamarhi DM Rajiv Raushan and SP Hari Prasath S have started moving on bike in different parts of Sitamarhi town and adjoining areas during night. The DM and SP take turn to drive the bike. They moved in Sitamarhi town even on October 14 night.  Of late, there has been spurt in crime in  Sitamarhi district. In fact, communal tension had flared up recently at village Kachor under Kanhouli  block in Sitamarhi district in which 11 persons were injured. While the initiative of the DM and SP has been lauded by the people, some people have criticised them for not wearing helmet made mandatory for  even pillion riders in Bihar.
