SIT arrests DCO, Supaul, Pankaj Jha, in Srijan Fund scam

Supaul: An Special Investigation Team (SIT) from Bhagalpur on August 19, 2017, arrested District Co-operative Officer (DCO), Supaul, Pankaj Jha, in connection with multi-crore Srijan fund scam. The SIT conducted raid at Supaul DCO office and quizzed the DCO, Supaul. Not satisfied with his replies, the SIT later arrested the DCO.

The SIT team comprising seven officials reached the office of the Supaul DCO Jha by a car around 2 pm on August 19. The SIT team came out of there after about 20 minutes along with DCO Jha. The DCO told his subordinates that the SIT had arrested him. SHO, Sadar police station, Supaul, Rajeshwar Singh confirmed the arrest of DCO Jha. The SHO said that the SIT had probably taken DCO Jha to Bhagalpur.
