Sindhu, Pranoy enter QF of Indonesia Open Badminton

Patna : World No 3 in Badminton World Federation (BWF) rankings in women’s singles P V Sindhu, 23, India, and World No 13 in men’s singles H S Pranoy entered the quarter-finals of Indonesia Open 2018 on July 5, 2018. Indonesia Open is a BWF World Tour Super 1000 tournament.

Sindhu defeated World No 16 Aya Ohori, Japan, 21-17, 21-14 in just 36 minutes at GBK Istora Senayan Stadium – 3 to enter the quarter-finals in the women’s section. wThis was Sindhu’s 5th victory over Ohori.

Pranoy defeated World No 15 Wang Tzu Wei, Chinese Taipei, in a three-set thriller 21-23, 21-15, 21-13 in one hour at GBK Istora Senayan Stadium-2 to enter the quarter-finals.
