Sindhu enters 3rd round of All England Open Badminton

Patna : World Number 3 in Badminton World Federation (BWF) raking P V Sindhu, 22, India, defeated Word Number 11 Nitchaon Jindapol, Thailand, in a three-set thriller 21-13, 13-21, 21-18, on March 15, 2018, to enter the third round Women’s section of All England Open Badminton Championship 2018.

World Number 6 Nozomi Okuhara, Japan, too entered the third round after defeating Pai Yu P0, Chinese Taipei, 21-15, 21-8. Po is ranked 20th in the BWF rankings. World Number 14 Aya Ohori, Japan, upset World Number 8 Sung Ji Hyun, South Korea, 21-16, 21-17, to enter the third round.
