Patna : Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH)  defeated Rajasthan Royals (RR) by 9 wickets in the fourth IPL match this year at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, Hyderabad, on April 9, 2018, night, with opener Sikhar Dhawan scoring an unbeaten 77 in 57 balls with 13 fours and a six and captain Kane Williamson scoring an unbeaten 36 in 35 balls with 3 fours and a six. They were involved in an unbeaten partnership of 121 runs for the second wicket.

Replying to Rajasthan Royals’ small score of 125/9 in 20 overs, the SRH scored 127/1 in 15.5 overs. SRH opener Wriddhiman Saha was out for 5.

Earlier, asked to bat first by SRH who won the toos, the RR made 125/9 with Sanju Samson scoring 49 in 42 balls with 5 fours.
