Shi Yuqi wins All England Open 2018 Men’s singles title

Patna : World Number 8 in Badminton World Federation (BWF) rankings Shi Yuqi, China, won the All England Open Badminton singles title defeating World Number 8 and six times champion Lin Dan, China, at Birmingham, UK, on March 18, 2018, night, in a pulsating final lasting 74 minutes.

Yuqi beat Lin Dan 21-19, 16-21, 21-9, to lift the Men’s singles title. Lin Dan put up strong fight in the first two sets but Yuqi demolished him in the third set. Lin Dan had first won the All England Open singles title in 2004.
