Seven notorious criminals arrested in Sitamarhi

Sitamarhi: Sitamarhi police under the leadership of ASP (operations) Sanjiv Kumar Singh and SDPO, Sadar, Rajiv
Ranjan, on a tip off, arrested seven notorious criminals with four countrymade pistols, seven live cartridges, raw materials for manufacturing bombs, seven mobile phones and a motorbike from a mango grove near village Bakhari under Riga police station on Tuesday.
The arrested criminals were identified as Sujit Kumar, Madan Kumar (both residents of Muzaffarpur district), Ajay Patel and Shambhu Kumar (natives of Sheohar district), Raju Kumar, Dhiraj Kumar and Sujit Kumar Thakur,all from Sitamarhi district.
According to Sitamarhi SP Hari Prasath S, the criminals had assembled at village Bakhari to plan criminal activities. They are inter- district dacoits and were wanted in several criminal cases in north Bihar
districts. Their other accomplices would also be arrested soon, said SP Hari Prasath.
