Senior PMC officer Uday Krishna commits suicide

Patna : Additional Municipal Commissioner, Patna Municipal Corporation (PMC), Uday Krishna committed suicide on June 26, 2018, late night, by jumping before a train coming from Gulzarbagh Railway Station. He was 58 and a resident of Vidyapuri P-10 colony under Patrakarnagar Police Station, Patna.

SRP, Patna, Ashok Kumar Singh, said that, the body, in pieces, was recovered under Gandhi Setu on Rajendra Nagar main line crossing by Patrakar Nagar Police team at around 7 am on June 27.

Uday Krishna had left home around 9 pm on June 26 after an argument with some family members. When he did not return for hours, his brother had lodged a missing complaint with the Patrakarnagar Police station. SRP Singh said that the cause of death would be known after the post-mortem report comes. Uday Krishna had attended an important meeting at his office in the afternoon.
