Patna : Making their second apperance in the FIFA World Cup, Senegal defeated Poland 2-1 in Group H match at Spartak Stadium, Moscow, Russia, on June 19, 2018.
For Senegal, the first goal was scored by Defender Thiago Cionek in the 37th minute while the second goal was scored by striker M’ Baye Niang in the 60th minute. Grzegorz Krychowiak scored the goal for Poland in 86th minute from afree kick.
Poland are making their 8th apperance in the World Cup. Senegal had reached quarter-finals in 2002 World Cup in their first apperance.
