Ara : A Class VIII student died due to electrocution at Bharehata under Piro police station in Bhojpur District in South Bihar on April 4, 2021, evening. The deceased was identified as Lav Giri, 17, son of Mohan Giri of village Bharehata. Police brought the body over to Ara Sadar Hospital for post-mortem.
SHO, Piro police station, said that Lav Giri was going to market in the evening on April 4, 2021, and as he touched the iron gate of his house to open it, a live electric wire fell on it and electrocuted him. Family members rushed him to Primary Health Centre (PHC), Piro, where he succumbed to his injuries during treatment.
