School girl kidnapped in Darbhanga

Darbhanga : A minor girl, student of class 10, was kidnapped on Wednesday by some persons in broad daylight when she was going to collect drinking water from a well at village Chintamani under Bajitpur police station in Darbhanga district. The father of the girl has lodged a case with Bajitpur police station against a former Mukhiya of this panchayat and
four others in this regard. A K Singh, SI of police, said that police were investigating the case. The cause of this incident is said to be enmity between the family of the girl and former mukhiya for not supporting the latter in panchayat election. Raids are on to trace the girl.
