Patna : Saurashtra were 384/8 at stumps on Day 2 in their first innings in the Ranji Trophy Final against Bengal at Saurashtra Cricket Association Stadium, Rajkot, Gujarat, on March 10, 2020, with Chirag Jani and Dharmendrasinh Jadeja unbeaten on 13 each. Saurashtra had won the toss and opted to bat. Resuming at their overnighjt score of 206/5, Saurahstra lost 3 wickets on Day 2, all three in the 3rd session of play. 

Arpit Vasavada scored 106 in 287 balls hitting 11 fours while Cheteshwar Pujara scored 66 in 237 balls with 5 fours. Vasavada and Pujara added 142 runs for the 6th wicket. Avi Barot (wk) and Vishwaraj Jadeja scored 54 each. Shahbaz Ahmed took 2/83 and Akash Deep took 3/77. Mukesh Kumar also took two wickets.
