Saudi Arabia beat Egypt 2-1 in World Cup match

Patna : Saudi Arabia defeated Egypt 2-1 in a Group A of FIFA World Cup on June 25, 2018, evening, at Volgograd Arena, Russia. Midfielder Salman Al- Faraj and midfielder Salem Al-Dawsari scored goals for Saudi Arabia while midfielder Mahamed Salah scored the loan goal for Egypt. The score was 1-1 at half-time. Egypt had scored the first goal of the match in 22nd minute.

Saudi Arabia have won their first match in the World Cup since 1994 when they defeated Belgium 1-0. Egypt goalkeeper Essam El Hadary is almost 45 years and 161 days old, the oldest the history of FIFA World Cup.
