Satya Pal Malik takes oath as Bihar Governor

Patna : Staya Pal Malik, a former Union Minister, on October 4, 2017, took oath as the new Governor of Bihar. He is the 38th Governor of Bihar after Independence. Chief Justice of Patna High Court Rajendra Menon administered him oath of office at Rajendra Mandap, Raj Bhavan, at 10 am. Malik took oath in Hindi.

Bihar CM Nitish Kumar, Speaker, Bihar legislative assembly, Vijay Kumar Chaudhary, Deputy Chairman, Bihar legislative council, Haroon Rashid, several members of the state cabinet, Lokayukta, Bihar, several legislators, former CM Jitan Ram Manjhi, JD(U) Rajya Sabha Member K C Tyagi, several bureaucrats were prominent among those present on the occasion.
