Sasarm : Bihar Government’s claim of providing good medicare to patients at government facilities across the state notwithstanding, neither any doctor nor any staff of Sasaram Sadar Hospital provided a stretcher to young injured daily wage earner Yoghesh Chaudhary whose mother Pramila Devi carried him on her shoulder to the hospital ward and X-Ray room recently.
Yogesh Chaudhary, a young man from village Kadawa under Nokha police station in Rohtas District in South Bihar, is a daily wage earner. When he was returning home from day long work, he fell down from his bicycle and broke his leg. His mother Pramila Devi went to Sasaram from Nokha and reached Sasaram Sadar Hospital in an auto-rickshaw with her injured son. Later, she carried her son on her shoulder to ward and also to the X-Ray room but no one listened to her pleas let alone providing a stretcher to her son though the hospital has all types of equipment.
