Patna : Sanjay Kumar, a 1990 batch Bihar cadre IAS officer and Principal Secretary, Education Department, also holding additional charge of Principal Secretary, Cabinet Secretariat Department, and Member, State Advisory Committee, was on February 28, 2021, promoted to Apex Scale ( Chief Secretary Rank) and designated as Additional Chief Secretary.
The posts current held by Sanjay Kumar have been upgraded to Apex Scale with effect from the date he assumes charge in the new scale and remain so till his tenure. The General Administrayion Department issued a notification to this effect on February 28, 2021.
