Saharsa : Saharsa district administration has started tightening screw on dealers of fake Cement in the district. Saharsa SDO Saurabh Jorwal on June 16, 2017, conducted raid at a godown located behind Harsh Enterprises on Kahra Kuti Road and caught red handed some persons involved in repackaging of Cement. Prima facie it appeared that non-cement material was mixed with the cement stored at the godown. The sample of the cement has been sent to laboratory for chemical test.
SDO Jorwal said that he had received information that some cement dealers whose establishments were located between Refugee Chowk and Rahua Canal were selling sub-standard cement. Kahra Circle Officer (CO) Shailendra Kumar, SHO, Saharsa Sadar police station Bhai Bharat and GM, District Industries Centre (DIC) accompanied SDO Jorwal during the raid.
