Bokaro ( Jharkhand) : The newly appointed Steel Authority of India (SAIL) Chairman Saraswati Prasad on on July 10, 2018, advised Bokaro Steel Plant employees to put in their best to produce quality steel in view of the cut throat competition at global level adding that only world class steel can survive as market leaders.
Prsad reached Bokaro on a 7 hour visit on July 10, 2018, noon, and was addressing BSL officers at Bokaro Niwas before flying back to New Delhi. Earlier, after reaching Bokaro, the chairman visited several shops of the steel plant including hot strip mill, cold strip mill, blast furnace and other steel producing establishments.The top officials of BSL informed about the total production of steel as well as the difficulties the plant was facing due to shortage of coal and power.
Bokaro steel plant chairman P K Singh and other top officers of BSL accompanied the SAIL Chairman during his visit to different places.
