Saharsa police fail to nab any ultra during search operation

Saharsa : Naxalites have allegedly taken shelter in some maize fields in Itahari and Sahuria under Salkhua police station in Saharsa district for the last 15 days triggering panic among the villagers who fear visiting their maize fields. DSP, Simribakhtiarpur, Ajay Narain Yadav, following the direction of Kosi range DIR Saurabh Kumar on May 11, 2017, carried out a search operation with police force at Banmadih, Hathmandal and Harahari areas on May 14, 2017, but failed to arrest any naxalite. The villagers said that police should instead search for the ultras in the maize fields at Itahari and Sahuria under Banma police outpost.
