Saharsa : Two lovebirds who had escaped from village Laxminia under Jalai police outpost (OP) under Mahishi police station (PS) in Saharsa district on February 15, 2017, were finally arrested at Saharsa railway station by police on February 28.
Gulshan, 21, daughter of Mohd Isa, and Jabbar, of village Laximina had allegedly eloped on February 15. Mohd Isa had lodged an FIR with Jalai OP in this connection. But, the lovebirds have informed police that they got married in Bandra court in Maharashtra on February 23 and were returning home on February 28 when they were arrested by Jalai police at Saharsa railway station. Police have initiated process for medical examination of the girl and subsequent action.
