Patna : Replying to India’s 274/7 in 50 overs, South Africa were 189/6 in 39 overs in the fifth ODI at St George’s Park, Port Elizabeth, South Africa, on February 13, 2018, with veteram opener Hashim Amla scoring 71 in 92 balls hitting 5 fours.

Amla was run out by Hardik Pandya. South Africa captain and opener Aiden Markram made 32 in 32 balls hitting 4 fours and a six. A B de Villiers was out for 6 while J P Duminy made only 1. Pandya took the wickets of both de Villiers and Duminy.

David Miller was out to wrist spinner Yuzvendra Chahal for 36 in 51 balls hitting 2 fours and a six. Andile Phehlukwayo was out for duck to wrist spinner Kuldip Yadav. Jasprit Bumrah took the wicket of opener Markram. Wicketkeeper Heinrich Klassen was batting 34 in 33 balls hitting 2 fours and 2 sixes  while Kagiso Rabada was batting on 1. South Africa need to score 86 runs in 66 balls to win the match.
