Patna : An intensive drive was conducted on July 10, 2020, in Patna on the directive of DM Kumar Ravi to ensure use of masks by the people to check COVID-19 infection in the district. A fine of Rs 19,500 was realised from 390 persons in Patna district during the drive while nine vehicles were seized.
At sub-divisional level, a fine of Rs 16,800 was recovered from 336 persons. At Traffic SP level, a sum of Rs 1,300 was recovered from 26
persons while nine vehicles were seized. From different circles of Patna Municipal Corporation, the Execute Officers recovered Rs 1,400 as fine from 28 persons.
Campaigns for mandatory use of masks under standard operating procedure are already in operation and its effective implementation is
being ensured. A fine of Rs. 46,800 has been recovered from 936 persons so far and 16 vehicles have been seized. At sub-divisional level, a fine of Rs 40, 800 has been recovered and seven vehicles have been seized from 816 persons.
So far, 16 vehicles have been seized while a fine of Rs 46,800 has been recovered from 936 persons under the campaign in the district.
Patna DM Kumar Ravi has directed officials associated with this campaign to speed up the campaign and ensure hundred percent compliance of mandatory use of masks and maintenance of social distance.
