RR beat SRH by 7 wickets in 45th match of IPL-12

Patna : Rajashthan Royals (RR) beat Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) by 7 wickets in the 45th match of IPL-12 at Sawai Mansingh Stadium, Jaipur, Rajasthan, on April 27, 2019, late night, with openers Ajinkya Rahane and Liam Livingstone, 25, UK, scoring 39 and 44 runs respectively adding 78 runs for the 1st wicket. Replying to SRH’s 160/8 in 20 overs, RR scored 161/3 in 19.1 overs registering an emphatic victory. RR had won the toss but opted to bowl.

RR have now 10 points from 12 matches while SRH has 10 points from 11 matches.

Sanju Samson scored an unbeaten 48 in 32 balls hitting 4 fours and a six. RR captain Steven Smith fell to fast bowler K Khaleel Ahmed for 22 with 3 fours. Rahane scored 39 in 34 balls with 4 fours and a six while Livingstone scored 44 in 26 balls with 4 fours and 3 sixes. Rahane fell to spinner Shakib Al Hasan while Livingstone fell to spinner Rashid Khan.

Batting first, SRH had scored 160/8 with Manish Pandey scoring 61 in 36 balls with 9 fours and David Warner 37 in 32 balls.
